HOW CAN THE YOUTHS BOOST THE ECONOMY?
The world is changing from analogue to digital. The digital world being a complex world requires young vibrant souls to cope up with it. According to the previous statistics, 60% of Kenya's population are the Youths.
Although the Youths make up the largest population in Kenya, most of them are in employed some even engaging in dangerous activities to meet their daily needs.

According to the National police department due to unemployment youths have resorted to selling drugs eg bhangand cocaine and burglary. This has been as a result of the fast moving economy and they feel like they have been left behind by the government.
But how can the government help the youths and prevent them from crime?
The government should consider hiring youths with major digital issues since they are the ones who are well equiped. Most of the digital equipment are easier and we'll handled by the young generation. These can either be digital machines, laptops etc.
Youths can also be trained in seminars and workshops on how to start micro business this will empower the in employed as they will earn skills that will help them and even allow them to employ others.

Youths can also be given loans by the government to start up small businesses or further their level of education. This can be either grants or loans which will play a big role in the country's economy. The loans can be given either individually or in a group at a lower interest or interest free.
Youths can be trained to either work locally or abroad. This can be empowering them to gain skills and prepare them for the international market where yhey can earn big and being it back to the country.
The government can also major on sports as many youths ate talented but don't have a place to showcase their talent.Talent has really proved to be a good source of income not only to the individual but the country. However this can promoted only if the government builds good training facilities and funds their training
If a country wants to flourish,it must empower the younger generation and set good examples to them.Youths are the backbone of any economy and if the government wants to flourish it must put their intrests first.
This should also be a challenge to the younger generation they should start equipping themselves with skills that will help them earn a living they should also shun away from drugs and dangerous activities like crime as this will only be their downfall.
